Cameroon seeks consultants for studies for three major road projects

Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Works has invited consultants to submit expressions of interest to conduct studies for the development of three road projects.

The services required involve carrying out technical, economic, environmental and social impact studies as well as climate change studies.

The first project involves studies covering the Boumnyebel-Bokito-Bafia (127km) and Edéa-Yoyo (77km) sections in the Center and Littoral Regions.

The second project involves studies covering the Maroua-Dargala-Moulvoudaye-Yagoua road (120km), including the Moulvoudaye-Kalfou ramp (17km); and the Maroua-Lara road (65km) and ring road around the town of Maroua (60km), which includes the bypass, in the Far North Region.

The third project involves studies covering the Mora-Kourgui-Gancé-Kolofata-Kerawa road (37km), GancéAmchidé road (15km), the Mokolo-Nigeria border road (70.5km) and rehabilitation of the Maroua (Gaklé)-Mokolo section (79.5km) in the Far North Region.

The African Development Bank is funding the projects.

Interested parties are allowed to form joint ventures to enhance their qualifications.

Firms can obtain further information during office from 09h00 and 16h00, between Monday and Friday.

Proposals must be physically delivered by 15h30 local time on 29 September 2023.
