Malani Padayachee-Saman is a professional civil engineer and the CEO of MPAMOT, South Africa’s first women-owned and led engineering and development consultancy. With over three decades of experience in urban infrastructure and project management, she has led projects for major public sector clients, including municipalities, Transnet, Eskom, and ACSA.
A passionate advocate for female leadership and the growth of small consulting practices, Malani serves on the FIDIC Global Leadership Forum Advisory Board as the sole CEO representing Africa. She is also a member of the South African Academy of Engineers and has actively participated in a number of Boards focussed in her sector. Her leadership is rooted in a commitment to sustainable and inclusive infrastructure development.
