Petra Devereux is the regional manager for Sub-Saharan Africa for the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the world’s largest professional membership organisation in the built environment.

She started her career in the built environment from the age of 18 whilst studying correspondence for her undergraduate degree. Her experience spans various sectors from construction project management, property development, marketing, through to heading her own talent acquisition and headhunting firm in Sub Saharan Africa for 10 years. 

Petra has a passion for promoting how women can thrive in and contribute to the built environment industry.
