Uganda Looks For Power Distribution Partner
The existing private sector concession expires in March 2025.

Uganda’s energy ministry is looking for new private sector players to partner with in the distribution sector as the 20-year concession of the country’s main electricity distribution company Umeme Limited nears an end. Umeme has been operating and maintaining Uganda’s distribution infrastructure since 1 March 2005 and the concession expires
