Turbine Commissioning Completed At Nigeria’s Zungeru Plant
The 700MW plant will meet about 10% of the country’s power needs.
Commissioning of four 175MW turbines and generators at the 700MW Zungeru hydropower project on the Kaduna River in the Niger state, Nigeria has been completed, the US' GE Vernova has announced.
GE Vernova was selected to design, supply, supervise the installation and commission the units by contractor China National Electrical Equipment Corporation
