Tembo Secures Loan For Burundi Hydro Projects
Funds will support development of Dama and Siku plants.
Tembo Power, developer of the Dama and Siku hydropower projects in southern Burundi, has signed a financing agreement with the Electrification Financing Initiative (ElectriFI).ElectriFI will provide a US$300,000 loan to finalise pre-financial close, late-stage development activities for the run-of-river projects, with a particular focus on geotechnical, environmental and social aspects.ElectriFI
