Tanzania To Fund SEZs Using Capital Markets
The plan is to sell treasury bonds and unit trusts.
Tanzania’s Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) has announced its intention to engage the private sector through the capital markets to develop its planned Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
According to EPZA director general Charles Itembe, raising funds through the capital markets will enable the swifter implementation of SEZ projects.
