South Africa Plans US$2.7 Billion Of Rail Upgrades

The passenger rail network has been affected by theft and vandalism.

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) has announced plans to spend Rand 50 billion (US$2.7 billion) over the next three years on rolling stock and infrastructure investments for the country’s passenger rail network.
