Nine African Nations To Join BESS Consortium
The aim is to achieve 400GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
Nine African countries have formally expressed an interest in joining the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Consortium launched during COP28 in the UAE which commits members to participate in efforts to reach energy storage commitments of 5GW by the end of 2024.
