Mozambique Launches US$80 Billion Energy Transition Plan
The strategy is structured around four pillars and 14 programmes.
The government of Mozambique officially launched its energy transition strategy at the COP28 climate conference in the UAE, calling for US$80 billion of investment to 2050.
The plan has been designed to promote national development and turn Mozambique into a regional energy hub, while also contributing to the global energy transition.
