MIGA Supported 14 Projects in Sub-Saharan Africa in 2022/23
US$1.9 billion of guarantees were provided for new investments.
The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) of the World Bank issued US$1.9 billion in new guarantees for investments in Sub-Saharan Africa during the 2022/23 financial year, ending on 30 June.
Globally, MIGA issued a record US$6.4 billion in new guarantees for 40 projects across 29 countries, with 29.6% of this value
