Liberia Inks Rail Concession With US Miner

Development part of planned Liberty Corridor linking country with Guinea.

The Liberian government and the US’ Ivanhoe Atlantic have signed a 25-year concession and rail access agreement that will allow the mining firm to use the country’s Yekepa-Buchanan railway to transport iron ore from the Kon Kweni mine in the neighbouring Republic of Guinea for export via Liberia’s Atlantic Ocean
