KenGen Gets Go Ahead For Gogo Hydro Upgrade
The plant's capacity will be increased to 8.6MW.
Kenya’s cabinet has approved the redevelopment of the 2MW Gogo hydropower plant situated on the Kuja River in Migori county.
The approval paves the way for Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) to increase the plant's power generation capacity to 8.6MW.
