JICA Funds Fisheries Project in Senegal

Japan has agreed a grant of US$7.6 million for the project.

The Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) has signed an agreement with the government of Senegal to provide a grant of up to Yen 1.1 billion (US$7.6 million) to improve the fish-landing facilities at Joal-Fadiouth in the Thies region, southeast of Dakar.The planned project involves the construction of 820 square metres
