IFC Signs Loan For Decentralised Renewables Projects
The US$80 million financing package will help drive 115MW of schemes in 15 African countries.
The IFC has signed a US$80 million financing package for the Facility for Energy Inclusion (FEI) fund that will support small-scale decentralised renewable energy (DRE) projects in 15 countries across Africa.The financing will support about 115MW DRE projects in the telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture and hospitality sectors in countries such as Democratic Republic
