Date Set For Tanzania Hydro Inauguration
The 2,115MW Julius Nyerere plant will be inaugurated later this month.
The official inauguration of Tanzania's 2,115MW Julius Nyerere hydropower plant and dam is scheduled for 25 February 2024.This is according to Shaib Hassan Kaduara, Zanzibar's minister of energy, who extended an invitation to the launch to East African Community Partner States during a recent Sectoral Council of Energy ministerial meeting
