AfDB Approves Loan For Senegal Agro-industrial Zone
Five agro-industrial hubs are being built in Senegal.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a €86.89 million (US$94.9 million) loan to Senegal for the development of an agribusiness processing zone in the north of the country.
The Agropole North project covers the regions of Louga, Matam and Saint-Louis, with a combined population of some 2.8 million people.
