The government of Zanzibar is seeking consultants for the design review and technical supervision of the construction of the Karume Institute of Science and Technology and the Zanzibar Technology Business Incubation Facilities.

Consultants have until 14 June 2023 to submit an expression of interest (EOI).

The scope of the consulting services includes detailed design review and construction supervision of the project, which will be implemented through five vocational training contracts with an estimated construction duration of 24 months for each lot and a 12-month defect liability period. 

The consultancy contract is expected to have a duration of 37 months. The consultant will be fully responsible for the supervision of the construction works from site handover until final completion.

Consultants should have completed at least three similar assignments in the past 10 years.

The project is being supported with funding from the African Development Bank.
