Zambia and DRC Break Ground On Luapula Bridge
The bridge forms part of the Kasomeno-Mwenda toll road PPP project.
Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema and the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC’s) President Antoine Tshisekedi have broken ground for a bridge that will cross the Luapula River bordering the two countries as part of the Kasomeno-Mwenda toll road project.
The US$850 million Kasomeno-Mwenda project is being developed as a public-private partnership (PPP)
