World Bank Pledges US$300 Million To Liberia Dam Project

The World Bank has pledged US$300 million to Liberia for the construction of a second hydroelectric dam (SP2) on the St Paul River in Lower Bong County, Liberia Electricity Corporation has announced.
The new dam will increase Liberia's hydropower capacity by 150MW.
