Work Advances On US$3 Billion Angola Water Supply Programme

PCESSA initiative aims to provide drought relief in country’s south.

Construction of the Ndue dam on the Caundo River in the Cuvelai municipality of Angola’s Cunene province has reached 74.5% completion.  The dam will be 32.8 metres high and 1,500 metres long once completed, with a 75km adductor canal, and will have a storage capacity of 170 million cubic metres.
