Tanzania Plans Spending Rise For 2024/25
Budget prioritises implementation of flagship schemes.
Tanzania’s Ministry of Finance has set out a Tanzanian shilling 49.4 trillion (US$18.6 billion) budget for 2024/25, a 11.2% rise on the previous year's spending plan.The higher expenditure is being driven the increased cost of debt servicing, elections due to be held in 2024 and 2025, as well as preparations
