South Africa's Nersa Approves Licences For 860MW Of Solar Projects
The five projects were selected from the sixth bid window of the REIPPPP.
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) has approved generation licences for the five preferred bidders in the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) Bid Window Six (BW6).
The preferred bidders granted generation licences are listed in the table below:
