Senegal Begins Construction of First Large-Scale Desalination Plant
The Mamelles Sea Water Desalination Project will help ease water shortages in Dakar.
The 50 million litres per day Mamelles Sea Water Desalination Project is to be constructed by a consortium formed by Toyota Tsusho Corporation, a Japanese infrastructure development company, Eiffage Génie Civil, a French construction company, and VA Tech Wabag, an Indian water engineering company.
