Road networks in Ghana set to undergo major overhaul in 'Year of Roads'
Ghana's Ministry of Roads and Highways has indicated that the government will start work on nine new major road projects and seven new bridges in various parts of the country this year.
According to an article posted on the Graphic Online news platform, the nine new road projects to be executed are:
Accra-Kumasi dualisation (in sections);
Kumasi South and Western Bypass;
Kumasi Outer Ring Road;
Mamfe-Koforidua road;
Oyibi-Dodowa-Somanya-Akuse Junction Road;
Accra Outer Ring Road;
Asutuare Junction-Volivo Bridge road;
Eastern Corridor Road (Gbintiri-Kulungugu); and
Sawla-Wa road.
