Nigeria Signs MoUs For DARES Solar Project
Five companies to build 1,265MW of decentralised solar energy.
Nigeria’s Rural Electrification Agency (REA) has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with five companies for nearly 1.3GW of solar power capacity under the Distributed Access through Renewable Energy Scale-up (DARES) project.The DARES scheme aims to provide some 17.5 million Nigerians and up to 237,000 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs)
