Nigeria Federal Government Approves N58b For Road Construction
On 9th December 2020, Nigeria's Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved N58 billion (approx. US$145 million) for road construction projects in several parts of the country.
These areas include Kano, Kaduna, Jos, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The funds were distributed as follows: N50.8 billion to the construction of the Yakassai-Badume-Damagum-Makinzali Road in Kano and the rehabilitation of Kaduna-Kanbegua-Jos Road, N7.7 billion to the construction of some FCT roads, and N1 billion to various aviation
