Nigeria Awards US$916 Million Rolling Stock Contract
The equipment is for the under-construction Kano-Maradi/Kano-Dutse railway.
Nigeria’s Ministry of Transportation has awarded Mota-Engil Nigeria a US$916 million contract to supply rolling stock for the under-construction Kano-Maradi/Kano-Dutse railway in West Africa.
The delivery and commissioning of the rolling stock will take place over the next 48 months.
Mota-Engil Nigeria is building the single-track, standard-gauge line after winning a US$1.9bn
