Namibia Set To Sign Biomass Power Plant Deal
NamPower to sign EPC contract for 40MW plant on 24 May.
Namibia’s state power utility NamPower is preparing to sign an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with China’s Dongfang Electric International Corporation for the 40MW Otjikoto biomass power plant near Tsumeb in the northern Oshikoto region. NamPower will also ink financing and supplier agreements for the project at a contract award
