Mozambique Plans Rail Electrification
Transport minister says US$100 million required for pilot project.
The Mozambican government requires around US$100 million to implement a pilot scheme for railway electrification, according to a report by the state-run Information Agency of Mozambique (AIM), citing transport minister Mateus Magala.The 29 February report states that electrification work is planned to be carried out on the 88km Ressano Garcia
