MIGA Guarantees Rwanda Electrification Project
Some 150 villages to be connected to national grid.
World Bank’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) has issued guarantees of US$9 million to investors in an interconnected grid network in Rwanda that will hook up about 30,000 new customers.ARC Power Rwanda is developing the interconnected grid with solar generation units installed within village networks in multiple locations around Rwanda.
