Kenya signs €70m funding agreements for Water & Sanitation project in Kisumu
On the sidelines of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta's visit to France, financing agreements for the Lake Victoria Water and Sanitation Project were signed on October 2.
The Lake Victoria Water and Sanitation Project (LVWATSAN) aims to improve access to Water and Sanitation in Kisumu. Kisumu is the third-largest city in Kenya (after Nairobi and Mombasa), and is the headquarters of the Lake Region Economic Bloc, which is a conglomeration of 14 counties in Western Kenya.
