Hidroléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB) has signed a co-operation agreement with the International Finance Corporation to develop a large-scale photovoltaic solar farm in Mozambique. A pre-feasibility study will be conducted for the development of a power plant of up to 400MW at Matambo, in the Tete province in the central region.
