Eritrea Invites Bids For 30MW Solar Plant
The AfDB is funding the US$50 million project.
Eritrea's Ministry of Energy and Mines has invited bids to build a 30MW solar plant with battery storage in Dekemhare, 40km southeast of the capital Asmara.
The deadline for submissions is 17 October.
In March, the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved funding of US$49.9 million for the Dekemhare plant.
