Construction Begins On Senegal BESS Project
French firm constructing Walo Storage scheme in Bokhol.
Africa REN has started construction on its €40 million (US$43.4 million) Walo lithium battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Senegal’s northern commune of Bokhol.The work is being carried out by France’s Eiffage Energie Systemes subsidiary RMT over 12 months.
