Chinese Firm Wins Rwanda Dam Contract
The contract value is US$84.5 million.
Rwanda Water Resources Board (RWB) has awarded the construction contract for the Muvumba multi-purpose dam and hydropower project in northeastern Rwanda to China’s Sinohydro Corporation.
The contract was signed on 22 September for a value of RWF102.8 billion (US$84.5 million). A total of four bids were received for the contract.
