Chinese companies pledged to invest a combined US$4.3 billion in Kenya during the Third Belt and Road Forum in Beijing this month. Zhende Medical Company, which makes disposable medical devices, signed a deal with Kenyan developer Rendeavour to build manufacturing facilities at the Tatu City special economic zone in Kiambu county
