Burkina Faso Moves To Expand Power Production
BOAD approves US$50.9 million loan for Komsilga thermal plant expansion.
The West African Development Bank (BOAD) in late September approved a CFA franc 30 billion (US$50.9 million) loan to support the fourth-phase expansion of Burkina Faso’s Komsilga thermal power plant.The 190MW facility is located in the capital city Ouagadougou in the central region and supplies the country’s national interconnected grid.
