Adjaye Associates unveils architectural design for Thabo Mbeki Presidential Library

The design includes sustainability features such as solar power and a rammed earth facade made from locally sourced mud.

Described as a centre of excellence, learning, research, discourse and cultural exchange predicated on African perspectives, the proposed library will be located in Rivonia, a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa.
