Hussein Mohammed is a professor of engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.

He previously spent a decade as managing director of Capnice Engineering and Construction Company.

He has also served as associate consultant to Rafola Ayibiowu Engineering, Amana Consortium and Delkem Associates, among others.

In 2006, Polytran Engineering Associates appointed him as project manager, for the Akwa-Ibom International airport project in Nigeria.
