Adeola Agunbiade-Adeyemi is a lawyer with expertise in the resolution of complex commercial disputes across different sectors such as energy and natural resources, construction, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, insurance etc.

She regularly advises on contractual breaches arising from complex commercial transactions, enforcement of shareholders’ rights, construction disputes and expropriation of economic rights. She has also been engaged in multi-jurisdictional litigation and international commercial arbitration disputes.

Adeola practices at the law firm of Banwo & Ighodalo, a top-tier commercial law firm in Nigeria, where she is a Senior Associate and a member of the firm's Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice group.

She received her law degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She also obtained a Master's degree in International Business Law from the University of Toronto, Canada.

Adeola Agunbiade-Adeyemi serves on the Board of Directors of Africa Construction Law (ACL), a pan-African initiative set up by construction law practitioners across Africa and in the diaspora to promote thought leadership in the field of construction law and practice in Africa. She is also passionate about writing on a wide range of legal issues, and her articles have been published in several Law reviews and journals.
